Default What should i replace while tranny's out?

Hey i just bought a 98 civic dx, and i'm replacing the transmission. I was wondering what kind of seals or bearings typically go bad and what I should replace. I noticed on the new tranny, when you spin the shaft forward/backward, it kind of clicks....idk if this is normal. Help is greatly appreciated

I would change the clutch and throw out bearing and pilot bearing for sure. Have the flywheel replaced or machined if needed.

yes, change the main seal under the flywheel... it costs few bucks, it is very easy to replace...

Also, like someone mentioned above, replace the clutch (plate, disk and the bearing)

Don't foget to apply the high-temp grease... here's the picture where it sould be applied

replace, clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, machine flywheel, replace rear main seal, and easier to replace axle seals with trans out of the car.
