type-r swaybar 23mm for civics 92-95
i bought a type-r swaybar 23mm bushings and d-brackets from jdmland.com,, but does anyone know how it bolts on,it doesnt seem to fit with the d-brackets.also anyone know where i can see pics of this part,if so thanks ,if not still -thanks.i have a 94 4dr lx with omni power lca's,the ones that have the swaybar attachments.
The itr bar d-bracket bolt holes are farther apart than the stock civic subframe holes. My suggestion is to get an ASR subframe brace so that you can mount the itr bar. It comes with instructions on how to install.
I welded a plate to the subframe, predrilled the top hole to use the exsisting swaybar bracket threaded hole. Then drilled out another hole for the bottom bolt to go through put a plate on the other side of subframe and used a washer and nut. No subframe tear at all as I have strengthened with a welded plate.
It really helps. The ITR subframe is reinforced for the adde stresses of the bigger bar. Without out the sub-frame can tear. This is why the standard civic brackets don't work. At the very least use one of those kits like Beaks or the other knockoffs.

x2. ASR for the win! It's a must and it's been proven. I wouldn't, and didn't, settle for anything less
