next time you tell someone to search at least provide them with a link so they learn that the search button does work

if someone isn't able to click on red text that says search then i seriously doubt they could manage a engine swap.

the h22a swap is a bit pricy, due to the fact that i guess engine dealers are noticing the rise in H22a demand. I would try looking for a H23 it came off the Euro-R accord. its basically the same set-up and if you ever need parts for the h23, the h22 parts will fit into the h23. Ive seen the h23 set up sold for 2300-3000. you just gotta loook. heres some places i found it for a decent price.

Also look up the F20b engine. Its also the same set-up.
the only thing about about the F20 is it has lower torque than H22

Good Luck man. I was gonna try doing this but the funds are good when your in college.

the h23 is not out of the euro r accord...the h23 was a non vtec offered in older preludes (92-96??)

the euro r accord had an h22 motor roughly 220 hp 160 tq, higher redline that jdm (7800 or so ) and a much better geared trans than any h series has stock...also you get the coveted euro r intake mani, which makes better numbers that most aftermarket ones

ive got the euro r motor, its a sick *** swap. i say go for it you can typically find the whole setup minus axles and mounts that will work for ur aplication and you may need an ecu (dont use a chipped p28!!) at hmotors i think its just under 4 grand
