lowering springs... easy/hard?
Are lowering springs hard to put on a 90 civic si? did search... found nothing on installation. thanks also, if possible(or if i would even need it) post a website where they cover how to put them on.
na, you should be able to put them on w/o using a spring compressor. however, jsut be careful when u take off the old spring, cuz it will be under pressure and will "spring" when u take off the cap. assuming u are using the stock struts...

k relly eassssy i did itmy first time. I ddinte use spring compressor cause there is no need.
Put a jack under bottom of strut. Then take off the top cap bolt thingy. lower the jack slowly till spring uncompressed then just remove assembly as you normally ould only now you got your stock spring out with no chance of non saftey ness
GOOD LUCK

Theres an easy way of doing it....
Take out the strut
Lay the strut on the ground
Put your foot on the spring
Undo the nut
The strut will then go scooting across the ground so be careful, but not really
