Default Which Ecu Should I run?

well im running an obd1 JDM b16 that was wired to run a p2t (2000 si ecu), just picked up a obd2b to obd1 jumper harness, and now im running a chipped p30 that i borrowed from a buddy of mine. my car was running kinda rough with the p2t because my secondary 02 was malfunctioning and it was throwing a CEL. now that im running the obd1 p30 it doesnt throw any CELs but was wondering if running a stock p30 or a chipped p28 would be better. noticed with the chipped ecu that my gas mileage has gone down a little because it wasnt orignally meant for my b16. any input?

is your car obd1 or obd2. if it's obd1 the correct ecu would be a p30 or yes you can use a "chipped" p28 but that's ghetto imo. If its obd2 then you can run an obd2 p30 or a P2T si ecu. A JDM PCT or P73 ECU would run the engine best if you're obd2 but in most states you won't pass emmissions testing because usdm obd2 testing equipment won't read a jdm ecu.

I agree with SirRevvs. A DOHC ECU will run the car better than a chipped SOHC one..

P30 gets my vote.
