NOS in a supercharged R?
well, from what I'VE heard, you can run a supercharger either 5.5psi or 8psi and run a 25 or 30 shot of nitrous along with it. But, the thing is I'd imagine the 25-30shot ends up being around a 50-60 shot because of the cooling characterstics of the supercharger. With some real good tuning I'd imagine you'd get some nice power out of this setup.
there was a guy around here that was running a JRSC and i think a 65 shot. i am pretty sure he destroyed his pistions.
with the right tuning i am sure anything could be safe

I know of a few people doing it. The major thing I've heard is the stress of the nitrous on the JRSC. Kinda like if you take a very hot pan and pour very cold water on it, the pan will warp and bend slightly. The stress of very very cold air (nitrous) on a very very hot JRSC will bend and warp the rotors inside the JRSC over time (short time). The rotors in the JRSC slide along the walls charger with such a small gap that even dust, etc... in the air and hot temps will cause the rotors to flex and expend causing them to rub against the walls and get shredded up. With NOS is will cause thermal weaknesses in the charger which will lead to failure.
As for engine damage just look in the search for nitrous stories. And yes even a very small shot can hurt the engine. Tuning is key and also not being greedy is the key. A JRSC and nitrous is more on the greedy side IMO even with a built engine. However the setup is cool for dragging I guess, however as a street setup it won't last long.
