i have a '97 ek with power windows. right now i'm having a really big problem with the driver side window, it keeps jumping out of it's tracks, and i keep having to disassemble the door to fix it, if anybody has any suggestions please let me know!

i added lubricant to the 2 rubber raillings on each side of the door and it worked for a couple of days, but it keeps doing it , should i just buy new ones or is there anything else i can do

Try spraying some lub. in the rubber pieces where the window goes when its up that should work...

 

sounds like the retaining bracket on the inside isnt secured or something.. check to make sure everythings tight an in place when u have door apart... theres a writeup on here that someone did when converting their car to power everything an he had some in depth info on the windows an tracks an all that ****....
