Default A H22 or a b18 in my 96 civic ex?

ive been told many diffrent things, a h22 has its pros and cons, like it doesnt fit you have to get rid of your a/c and our power steering. a b16 dosent have enough power and you wont be happy with it. ill have about 5000 or 6000 to do with my civic engine. i want it to be fast but not give me to many problems. any advice? tips? anyting?
thanks

Go for the torque of the H22! Torque makes things hella fun.

h22 is only a little over 100 lbs more weight. and im sure ivtec would be nice but for 6k your not gonna be gettin one. stick with the hdeuce as long as you get good mounts you won't have to worry about fitment or losing ac or power steering if you are attached to them. and with 6k youll be able to do the whole swap + extras
