questions, has anyone used the yellow intake spring all around ?
also, how high is SAFE ?

cams im using are either gonna be itr's or most likely gsr's for my b16 build.

with portflows inner springs you have to use the yellows on the exhaust to. its not bad to upgrade but it would be overkill on the gsr's

 

what about the itr retainers ?

on my current stock motor setup my tq curve is flat as a strap with the b16 cams. i stop reving at 82-8300 when i could go higher and make more power but i dont wanna push the 13 year old valve train.

 

you should have to use the itr retainers also. i havent compared,but i would think they would be setup for the dual springs

 

The retainers are the same for the b16/gsr/type r. I would just do the yellow/blues....the exhaust cam is always smaller and you dont need "equal" springs for that very reason.
