can i run the ITR cams with b16 springs and retainers?

It has been done many times. It is often not recommended but as long as you retain the stock revlimit and your engine is relatively new like less than 80K miles you should have no issues.

if i were u i would by a set or valve spring and retainer to be on the safe side cuz u never know when u miss shift it and kabOOOOOm

it happen on one of my friend has a blox stage 2 with stock valve train kaboom drop valves he fU*k up bottom end

yes but blox stage 2s ARE ONLY for use with upgraded valvetrain, it is very specific on that issue, where as the ITR cams are not that much larger than a gsr cam.

i ran them on stock gsr and B16 valvetrain for over a year a piece, and i beat the crap out of them, never an issue

If u do it right the first time ull save ur self a big headache later man I won't take I chance if were u

Me running a type r cams right now on turbo b16a miss shift is the worst thing that will happen to evryone here I'm not saying peoples just don't know how to drive or I'm not I'm saying that everyone make mistakes good luck buddy

i was gonna go with omni springs and retainers tho would be sufficient right?

if you misshift with any valve tran
it will still blow no matter what

ive misshifted before without blowing engines. i think the valvetrain plays a large role its not simply hit or miss

sounds to me if you know how to drive these cams with a stock valvetrain will work. I to was looking into these cams but ive heard the the GSR cams with a little tuning of cam gears makes anywhere from 20-50hp. I think im going with them.
