Default recurring CODE 1 whats the deal?

ok so my 2000 civic hatch dx threw a code 1 this morning
so I changed the o2 sensor reset the ecu and it went away

then after 12 miles it came back?

what???

any ideas whats goin on?

Someone correct me if im wrong, but 1 is oxygen sensor... so you must be doing something wrong, or your "new" o2 sensor may have been bad possibly unless it wasn't from the junkyard... sorry i cant be more help, but thats the best I can think of! someone else will probably elaborate on it!

it was an old O2 sensor I had but dman whats the chances of them both being crap

guess Ill spend $70 on a new one
gonna be mad tho if the light pops up after that!
