i did the swap the speedo was working fine. I when to install a thermostat switch for the fan. Well now my speedo is not working. is it possible i pulled something? if so where do i start looking?

 

check the spedo cable maybe it got pulled out of the tranny.

 

it looks like a short circuit

 

where is the cable or plug located? front or back of the transmission?
where do i start looking?

checked the sensor all the way in the transmission. then all the plugs are tight. all the fuses are good. anything else to check? dont really want to purchase a sensor to test. there around 90 bucks.

 

Got it all figured out i was looking at the wrong item on the transmission. The cable just popped out. It also fixed my check engine light kinda weird. But ill have to drive it allittle more to see.Thanks for the help.
