Default 240whp/160tq B18C?

any of you think its possible to get 240/160 out of a stock dimension, stock sleeve B18C?

if there are any dyno sheets of this, please post a link, or the actual sheet with specs.

Thanks.

240whp on stock bore no spray, I doubt it. 220whp maybe on stock bore. Here's some reading material

Thats some good info, with most of those guys laying 210wheel on 11.0:1 c/r and some cams and a header, it makes me think that 240 might be possible, if not i at least want to shoot for 230, but the dyno will have the last word on that.

im building this regardless, i just wanted to know if a stock dimension 1.8 had ever put down 240 on pump.

anyway this is in no way going to have any stock internals, or parts.
I have a B18C as in JDM GS-R not a B18C-R
this is going to be an all-out build.
Heres kinda the rundown of what im thinking.

Stock Dimension GS-R

12.5:1 Wiseco's
Blueprint Mfg. I Beam's
OEM Honda Bearings
OEM Honda Head Gasket
Endyn Ported/Polished GSR Head
Endyn Valves
Rocket Valvesprings
Rocket Retainers
Rocket M24X's
Skunk 2 Pro Series Gears
Hytech Big Tube Header
Blueprint Mfg. Ported Skunk2 Intake Manifold
STR 70mm TB Port Matched
Hondata Intake Gasket
Hondata S-100/P72
RC 370cc's

Let me know what you think I already have the engine, intake manifold, TB and about $4k in cash.

that list is not bad but here's a addendum
Scratch that head porting, header, and manifold.

Get the following
a RLZ super duper job (320 cfm+)
a custom header (3 collector)
PerformerX or Jenvey's ITB designed for your set-up

See here

^^^ wow, very good stuff. im very impressed.

do you have any idea how much RLZ is charging for that super duper job?

about the header, any suggestions as to who can make that?

i would have to go with the performerX, i already thought about ITB's and they would put me well over budget for right now.

BTW thank you for your help, its nice to see what is working with proof.

PM max_cfm for RLZ for head porting

For a header see DTR

i hope u plan on using a ls/89mm crank for that goal. im sure with higher compression on e85 or race fuel and some other changes 240 may be within reach on my set-up 81x89, but still would be unlikely. if you fly to the west and have church tune it it will probly make 240.... thats alot of power from a street 1.8L.

I could see the 240 with all of the right parts and spinnning the motor to 9,500. 160 torque is a pretty tall order, given your stated limitations.

230-240 with good hear work, cams, pistons etc... i don't think you can get more than 140ish tq.

If you do not want to sleeve, consider a 92 or 95mm crank.

i did 227whp 138tq on a 81.5X87.2 motor

heres my build https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2191524

but even thats a 20wtq shortfall from your 160tq goal

im with everyone else stock sleeves even with an ls crank i dont think your gonna make the 160. you might be able to make the 240 (very slim chance) but its gonna be peaky as hell and useless everywhere else. i have a very similar setup, 12:1, BC4's, 65TB, eagle rods, type-r crank. i made 198/137 on 93oct. with a gsr manifold (modded and ported) switched to a sk2 pro2 ported and havent been retuned. i am hoping my setup retuned on race gas would make like 220/140 ish. but as far as 240/160 torque is gonna be tough on that small bore. good luck with the build.

why the s100? why not s200/300?

My motor is a ls b18a1 im having King Motor Sports of New Berlin WI build it. It is 13-1, with skunk 2 pro2s lots of head work. On pump gas and they told me i should make about 230s whp. So maybe you can but sounds like a long shot.
