What ind of mods can you get away with without voiding Acura's warranty on a Type-S
Once I sell the cars I have now I want to get an RSX Type-S, but I'd like to put a little extra pep in it, as it wouldn't be my DD. I want to get it putting like 230-250 to the wheels.
So would it be worth it to pay a little extra for the face lifted model, with a warranty if I want to mod it, or would it be a waste since the mods would void the warranty?

yes, 05-06 headlights and tailights can be swapped onto the 02-04 models. im sure you'll find somthin on it if u search.
it depends what you are doing to the car. Some dealerships wont care to an extent and others will not touch your car because you modded it (which they really can't do because they have to proof that mod voids the warranty).
Yes the 05-06 lighs will fit on the 02-04. The tail lights you will have to do a little modding to make them fit from what i hear. You'd have to drill into your car at a certain area to make the taillights fit flush in.

The mods you will need to do to reach 250 to the wheels will most likely void your warranty.
they can only void your warranty if the part actually causes the problem. read the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or just do a search on google and it'll paraphrase it for you. of course if you go put a turbo on your car it'll be totally different.

Anytime the dealership sees aftermarket parts and you bring it in to fix something, they are going to blame the part failure on the mods. I've seen it a hundred times. What parts do you suggest that will yield 250whp that won't void the warranty?
You could go with the Hytech kit, if you go $7500 to blow... Stroker Kit even... Get in the area of 225whp with I/RH/E Kpro and some cams...
