Default runs fine then bogs like hell

ok. i have a d15b2 with zc pistons and a y8 head. it's still running on dual point

when i drive it, it runs fine (with the occasional slight bog here and there), but after about 30-45 min, i get a cel and it seems like there's no difference between half throttle and full throttle.

my question is, why would it run one way one minute and then like **** the next minute.? i know it's not at its best because it's not tuned and it's still on dual point, but why would it not give me trouble until that much later?

ok. sorry, i've been without a computer for close to a month now.

and yes, i pulled the code a few months ago when it first started doign it and it was a whole bunch of ****, but then i looked back on them yesterday, and realized that all the codes i had written down were multiples of 8

it was just throwing code 8 over adn over again. it was the tdc sensor in the distributor, which would make sense because the thing had oil all in it when i bought the car. ima get the dizzy off my friends 89 ef and see if that works out.

would a 89 dizzy give me trouble on a 90? they're both dpfi, but i can't help but think that they changed something between 88-89 to 90-91.
