i have a d16y8 and am planning to boost do i need to run a oil return line?

no, you dont even need to oil the turbo if its a singlecam... oil line kits are only for DOHC engines, nobody else uses them.

Wow. I cant tell if your being serious or not. Your going to have to run a oil line to the turbo. It has nothing to do with it being a DOHC or SOHC. Either way, the turbo has to have a oil feed and return.

On second thought, if you have to be asking this kind of question, you obvisously have no clue what you are doing. You need to hold off until you have a good understanding in what needs to be done when installing a turbo and the components that are involved in it.

if you don't know if you need to have a return line, you are not ready for turbo at ALL. do yourself a favor and keep researching
