Installing front Progress Sway-bar, need help
Hi,
I just got both front and rear Progress sway-bars for my '03 Sedan. About the rear its basically okey, because i found few DIY's, so i hope no problems will occure while installing, but dont know about the front one. Did some one did this, or have some DIY? i suppose it should be as rear, but still maybe there are some critical points that must be know before replacement? I decided to go with stock end-links, hope wont brake soon

i had stock endlinks with my eibach sway bars, broke in no time. maybe because i decided to drive hard and they broke. anyways there's nothing much to the front. just get the exhaust pipe out of your way and go ahead and do the same as the back to the front. make sure ur sensors don't get stretched. so supporting ur exhaust might be a good idea.
i got Hotchkis endlinks before i installed mine 2 years ago.. i already had one stock endlinks broken.. so i know this beefy sway bars wouldnt last on them no time! installed the rear smoothly then the front was tricky.. i unbolted the exhaust piping to slide the sway bar easily on there. so itll be easier if you get new endlinks pref. Hotchkis... worth the time and money.. no squeaks... not that grey's crap ive heard about! but if you are lowered pretty far.. you need to bend the frame like the instructions suggest...imho!
i lowered by 1,3 inch with Tein S-tech, so i will need to bend smth? sorry for my english, but i didnt understand wich part i will have to bend? and i saw that i will have to unscrew the oxygen senson from cat, if i want to slide the bar, coz mine cat sits under the car, just where the sway bar is, probably not like in USA models..
whats the best online shop to buy end-links? I prefer Dedoz
i saw it on http://www.dezod.com/cat_endlinks.cfm , is it no risk/good value?

I believe they have about 2 to 4 inches of height adjustment in them. Far more than you'll need for the application.

one last question before buying, do those Hotchkis end link fits my Sedan(same as EM2)? because i checked these http://www.hotchkis.net/p-705-....aspx and the sales person said that "This part will only fit civic ep3 chassis. (2002-2005 civic si only!!)", so is it true or he just reads whats on the box? or may be the bore is different on these cars?
