Default apexi V-AFC II question?

I have an LS V-tec and I recently bought an APEXi V-AFC II off of my friend and have no idea how to set it up. If any one has any ideas I could use them.

yeah that circular can-like thing under the sink... put it in there and in the morning on your way to work take the can-like thing and pour it out to in the dumpster. this will give you +1 HP less of a head ache, and your car will still start .

I can email you the instructions, and wiring diagram. But they should be available on http://www.apexiusa.com. If not, just PM me or let me know by posting on here, and I will email them to you.

I dunno what V-tec is....and unless you're running a turbo, a VAFC is USELESS. Do more research.

I agree with moshin, A VAFC is more can be of use, but imo its more useful with a n/a app. more so than turbo because a VAFC is a fine tuning hack. A Turbo setup would require more tuning parameters than most basic n/a setups because of horsepower differences.

The only reason you'd tune a turbo'd car with a VAFC is if you liked looking at exploded engine parts.

but for the price you could just buy a chipped p28 and tune for REAL.

i got one cuz i picked it up for 25$ so i only need it for the vtec off point setting other than that i tune the car with the ecu

Well, the nice thing about the VAFC is the sensor check function. Incase you have an issue, it can be used to diagnose.

But yeah, a chipped, tuneable ECU would be nicer for tuning power into the car.

Either way, you have to dyno tune.
