the right shift linkage???
I have a 92 civic hatch with an Ls obd1 swap and im not sure what shift linkage is the one i have....recently my shifter has been crap. its a short throw DC and u can pull it up and down slightly when its in neutral....when i looked under the car the whole bar moves! its the bar that connects directly to the shifter.
yea they said it could be that white ball bushing type deal on the actual shifter....what kind of linkage should i use for this car though

Make sure you have parts 8 and 11 installed on the shifter ball. Also, idiot check, make sure the bushing #18 is in good shape, you have the collars in the bushing (2x #10), and the bolts underneath the shift console are tightened (2x #26).

from what you're describing i'm gonna guess you have no idea what you're doing.
it may just be loose bolts, if you can manage to get under your car i'd check the "bitch pin" and also the bolts that hold the shifter together.

Not all b series linkage is the same (length of vehicles differ, ie: ef/da/ek) but eg's can use all 94+ b series shift linkage..

The shifter moving up and down is going to be caused by something, obviously, on the shifter side and not towards the bitch pin. Loose bolts or crappy bushing is most likely.
