I cant open the outside of my back door for some reason I turned the child safety switch (not thinking) and now its like the door doesnt even work
how do i get the door open and whats broken? thx guys..

does it sound like im having the same problem as this guy?
I really should of thought before pressing the switch on the child lock switch
thats a good safety feature but damnit.. i dont have kids and if your dumb
enough to open the door with me driving your stupid enough to let pavement
eat your face..

 

well when you press it you can depress it right? its susposed to be like an on and off switch

 

cant use the switch because its in the door jam and i cant open the door
from the outside. so im pretty much f#%@ed and i need some help guys how do i get in?!?

you cant open it from out side or inside? oh yeah what kinda car is it lol

 

unscrew the plastic handle cover and pull the metal bar that hooks onto the handle

 

I think u have to find a way to take out your door panel and then pull the metal stick that is connected to the door handle to open your door. i guess your mechanism(sorry,i forget what is it called) that controls the hinch for you to open the door has spoil.
