Go pick up a hayne's/helms manual for YOUR car. Should tell you step by step on how to do it.

I put a set of 95' GSR cams in my b16a, first cam swap I did. I used a haynes manual for a dc2 integra and adjusted the intake valves to around 6 thousandths of an inch and the exhaust to around 7 thousandths of an inch. Car runs good and no tappy..other than the lmas...

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! Talk to the people at the ZEX company and ask them for the valve lash clearance using that cam on your engine. I would use stock specs...but you never know
Good luck

what else do you need OP? adjust your valves correctly and don't let your "friend" near your car again.

there are nothing wrong with the valves in your car y dont u just them right apparently they were working before this @ss clown of a mechanic screw the up so set them to spec (what ever zex says to set them to) and be done with it and stop asking question after question about wat u r supposed to do. Valves are a lot harder to replace than to just adjust the ones that are in there now.

What mechanic / shop doesn't know or have the tools to do a valve adjustment? You need a new mechanics and a new shop first.

Adjust them to stock specs. SOHC are a bit trickier to get right and make sure you follow a honda manual on how the feeler gauge should slide in and out and what not.

Oh, and SOHC from honda always tick a little I find. If one of your cylinders is low don't assume its a valve, do a leak down test and actually find out whats wrong cause it could be a HG or rings too.

Did you make sure the engine was cold before you did the adjustment? You can't do a proper adjustment unless the engine is completely cold.
