Alpine 9857. Got mine for 244. Yes "flips down" to insert CD, you can also remove face plate. Fits radio door. Get modifry harness and DCI to be compatable with left side controls.

I just ordered the CDA-9886 and i paid 240 shipped. I should get it tomorrow. The 9857 is discontinued so you may actually be able to find it cheaper.

That unit was on my radar, it was actually my 1st choice, but i researched and questioned other S2000 owners, and the gist of what I got is that the Alpine sounds better. I liked the BT in the pioneer, but if i decide that I need it, I can add it at a later date to the Alpine. IMO the alpine is the better unit

are u upgrading the speakers as well... a buddy of mine has the alpine in his s... to me its pretty much comparable, and to add the bluetooth is going to cost you... ive always had pioneer in my rides so im partial... and u need to get the IR DCI which kinda sucks...
