alright well i wired up my blox 52mm tach and it wasnt to hard just did my research first, took the ignition and illuminating through the dimmer switch near the cluster and there was a good ground right near the clutch, and i wired my signal wire to the blue wire on the distributor becaus i didnt want to mess with the wires behind the cluster, not that i cant do it i just didnt want to. well i turned my car on and turn my headlights on and it lit up and gave her a rev and NOTHING, so i noticed another blue wire coming off the distributor and did a test wire to that and still nothing, can someone supply some pictures of where else i can wire it or where on the diz is the correct blue wire because i couldnt find any pictures of correctly where to do it. thank you, btw its a 1988 hatch STD

 

the blue wire you want is in the 2-pin connector at the distributor, not in the 5-pin connector - it is a solid blue wire

 

yeha i plugged it into that one first and i got nothing, i just tried the one behind the cluster to out of frustartion and nothing, anyone else have a blox tach or no anything about these?
