Ok, I have a 93 Honda Del Sol SI with a B18B1 installed. I bought the car as it is and havent done anything to it yet. (with the exeption of tail lights, didnt like the red tails on a red car) But now to the question what do I use the V-AFC controller for? As far as I know I do not have the ls/vtec setup... But i am not for sure, How do I tell if i do? What is the controller used for besides a vetec controller? Thanks

I'm still looking, I looked on the Apexi website and cant find anything except som FAQ in which the info is none that i need. I dont need installation, I need operation. Anybody know anything?

 

That computer is used for fuel management and vtec engagement control.

 

Ya I got that far, I wanted to know how to use it. Learn how to benifit from it. I guess, from reading, I can adjust manifold pressure and Air/Fuel ratio... But i dont know how.... Thanks for the reply tho. Do you know anymore about it?

Go to http://www.apexiusa.com Find the instructions under electronics. I have the wiring and other instructions at home as well. PM me if you need them.

You need to have VTEC for the VTEC controller to work. You do not have VTEC. Do you now have a VTEC controller for sale? PM me if you do.

The VAFC is used to tune the car (ON A DYNO!!) as well as VTEC point modification. You can tune the AFRs, and use the meter as a gauge and sensor checker.

 

Then why then hell would the previous owner buy this? LOL If it doesnt serve any purpose? Guess he had more money then brains. Well i guess when mommy and daddy has money..... Sold this del sol to me and bought a STI.... meh But thanks alot B serious for the info.
