ok i pm a member on here like a week or so ago about the fitting and he gaive me the part number on summit. but somehow my pm was lost. i guess i hit the 2 week limit and didnt realize now i dont remember his user name.

anyways. the pcv valve on the valve cover on the intake side i wanted to run a 10an fitting to it but i cant find anything on summit only a 6an fitting that works i must be looking for it the wrong way or something.

i think the thread size was 5/8-20
can anyone help me out or know the part number? thanks

 

is that a threded fitting on the valve cover or and press fit? i know the exhaust side is a press fit and i usually drill and tap that for a 3/8npt.

 

its threaded.

 

it's a pipe thread.

if i'm not mistaken it is a bspt, i just went and bought a npt plug though since bspt plugs are a bit harder to get ahold of and it worked fine, just use some teflon and pipe dope. i believe it was 1/2 inch.

 

hmm i have some 1/2 npt laying around i'll give it a try.
