CD player installation problem.

Default CD player installation problem.

I installed my Cd player last night...i connected the wires..and went to test it to see if there was power...nothing happened, i touched the connected batterie wires with the ignition wires and it turned on...so i left it connected, but everytime i start the car the clock and the cd player reset...??

You need to connect the redwire to the red wire in the aftermarket stereo harness.


If you were stupid and cut off the OEM harness go look up the wire code for ACC.

I connected the battery line and the ignition but it doesnt turn on...then i put all 4 of them together and it worked..?

That is the correct sequence.

Check your fuses.

I just found out what it is...the battery fuse (yellow wire) is under the hood... i thought it would be under the drivers...ThankS!
