key stuck in ignition
does your key ever get stuck in the ignition? as in like you cant turn and remove it. this happens to me sometimes, especially when its cold. anyone know what could be wrong?
Is the car an automatic? If so, there's a relay/switch that controls a lock on the ignition key to stop you taking the key out when the tranny is in gear. If you yank back and forth on the shifter a few times, the key will come out (most of the time). My 92 LS Teg did this. I never did fix it. I just lived with it till I sold the car.
This happened to me once in my Crx. I yanked out my key and my car was still running.
I myself would like to know why that would be because I have a 5 speed.

if its an auto, just have another key like object u can stick in ur shift lock and it lets it go
also i just start the car up again, and then it lets the key go
