Default 1995 civic eg engine swapping

yeah so i got a question don't feel like searching for answers on the net so here it is.

i was wondering about the engine, would a long block fit inside the engine bay? i was gonna get like a B20 long block?

why one have any ideas for my engine swap?

cause the car im buying has almost 200,000 miles, so when the engine finally gives, i want to put a new engine looking at the H and B series.

not looking to spend a whole lot. thanks!

All complete engines are "longblocks" a short block is an engine witht the head removed.

You don't need to search the net for answers... You press the big red search button in the top right of this screen here, and type in "B20 motor swap" and you will quickly find hundreds upon hundreds of articles.

you will find your answer MUCH faster with the search button instead of posting and having people wail on you for being stupid about not search and who won't bother giving you an answer like me.

I'm not an ***, You just need to stop and read the titles of the top 5 threads in this section and think to yourself "I wonder if the answer is in any of these 5 threads"

Hahaha... now that I would like to see. That will be the next big build thread.

Anyhow, to the OP, if you are smart you will stick with an engine other than a B20, Crvtec, LSvtec, B16b or a K20/K24. None of the motors listed will be able to pass BAR... a K20 can, but you have to have deep deep pockets for that because it requires a wrecked RSX.

I would stick with an engine that is the same year of your car or newer. B16a, B18b1/b, B18c (GSR and Type-R), H22 are some suggestions.
