Okay on my way back home my rpm would Die to 0 and go back up while crusing. It like the car dies and coms back. at stop sign if i dont keep rev up it bogs and dies.
It like i run out of gas and also it stumbles bad a crank.
Need help bad.

What tests have you done so far.

Id start by checking the TPS sensor.

Any CEL codes?

 

No CEL

I know my Water pump is going bad but that cant be it.

While on highway rpm will drop and comeback up. Like yaking the car..

I'll check the tps sensor right now. To be truthful I dont know what a tps sensor is but i got a Manual so...

 

Also low idle like 1000 rpm or like 900

 

if not tps check all ignition- rotor cap plugs wire/ if all r good ur fuel pump could b on its way out

 

I dont think its the tps looks new but dont have nothing to test it with. Get new plugs and wires tomorrow.

What are the signs of a bad fuel pump?

Does it cause the rpms to drop on the middle of the highway and act crazy then go back to normal?

 

Dude I would bet its your distributor, they are horrible on these cars. If you have an internal coil replace your dizzy from distributor king and buy one with and external coil. You can even get the JDM one an convert it to external fairly simply.

 

So its my distributor? Cause i can hear my fuel pump Turn on.
Could it be a relay or Bad plug wires cause mine look okay its just small little cracks on the wire by the dizzy.

Its just i dont want to buy a whole new distributor and thats not it.

 

 

Today got new plugs. Engine cranks better. So then the engine runs for about three-four minutes then dies.

Now
-Spit aliitle black slug looking water out the exhaust.
maybe the cat is choking the engine....Doesnt even sound right.

Its like it want to run but dies
-The rpm would go to 0 and Catch itself and get back up.
