Default searched how to make a vacum leak down tester

i know this really doesnt go here and this isnt for a honda but an srt4 and i kant find one of mi vacuum leaks i have
how do u make a leak down tester
anything would help thankx

the object you are trying to build is very simple,

this is a leakdown tester for doing leakdown on engines, but you can easily build yourself something simlar to do what you want to do.

a vacuum leak or a cylinder compression leak? A leakdown tester like pictured above is for showing leaks internally such as piston rings or valve seals etc. You're better off buying one of those. Pretty cheap. However if you have a vacuum leak, you can never go wrong with a smoke machine into manifold vacuum. Its saved my *** many a times. Just have to find someone w/ a $1200 evap smoke tester. Usually higher end shops have them. We have 2 @ Benz

this has always worked for me.

you will need an air compressor. just pump air into your TB and litsen for leaks. Soap and water helps alot as well
