You can go up to 82mm on your gsr block. Check your pm

build a oem stroker kit... ls rods and crank with some 82mm pistons should see like 1.880cc so almost 1.9litir just make sure u use arp bolts new bearings and have it all balanced you could even shotpeen the rods for peace of mind

i would NOT do 82mm on stock sleeves.your just asking for problems. 81.5 the most unless sleeving then you can take it to 84 mm

Why not, for NA builds, 82mm is fine as long as your clearances and tune are good. My 82mm build just turned over 12k miles, driven hard since it was built. I wouldn't go 82mm on a boosted stock GSR, nor would I go 85mm on a boosted stock B20 w/o sleeving.

Good advice. You get the stoke of a LS/B20 crank with a bump in displacement, almost 1.9L like you said, but can use the GSR main girdle and no need for oil lines or b20vtec conversion kit.

Just get that GSR resleeved and run 85mm pistons. This way, you will have a fairly strong and durable setup. You will not ruin your rod ratio by stroking. And you will not have the smog issues that you would have with a B20 block.
