Default Coolant Line Issue

I was sitting in a parking lot and I noticed that a little bit of steam flowed from under my hood near the intake side of my motor. I looked at my temp gauge and it was half way up, a little hot, so I turned on the heat and popped the hood. I saw coolant spewing out of a small hose connected to the thermostat... great. Anyways I let the car cool and then proceeded to take the hose off and one of the clamps is upside down, not really sure why or how but whatever. Any tips on how to get it off?
