In car Personal Computer units. What design do you like most?
I used to have a mini-ATX "cube" setup that I installed in the trunk of my EJ2. Worked fine, had GPS/wireless and everything.
Seems bulky to me now that solid state drives and dash-size PC's are on the market. Since I'm going to have my Civic apart for a swap, I thought about changing the hardware for the PC.
What kind of hardware (or maybe all-in-one) units do you guys like to use?
Requirments:
- USB for wireless/GPS/input devices
- DVD/mp3
- RCA/Firewire out for audio.
Does anyone know of a *nix/Windows based program to interface with the ECU other than the proprietary applications?
