hood not popping open

Default hood not popping open

earlier today i opened my hood without a problem, then later on i tried opening my hood again and it wont pop open. how can i fix this? or at least how can i pop the hood again?

maybe i think this is what might've happened.

anyways to make it more CLEAR to some ppl: 93 hatch. i posted this in the Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992 - 2000) forum so u can already kind of narrow it down.

so when i pull the hood release, the hood doesn't open. the release also does not go back into it's original position. i have to push the wire back in so that the hood release can go back into it's original position. kinda hard to explain but i hope someone knows what i'm talking about.

same thing happened to me with my eg hatch. turned out the cable separated from the latch. i had to pop the hood from under the car by pulling the cable by hand. it was kind of a bitch to find but i did. i just connected the cable and mickey moused it to stay and haven't had a problem since. hope this helps.

If you haven't looked already Check the Latch inside the car theres a Little thing that holds the Cable in place and see if that popped out or not
