removing horn cover from wheel
i searched and looked at FAQs but nothing that answered my questions completely. i am blowin my horn fuse which controls my brake lights and cluster lights, so i want to remove this horn panel and see if any wires are touching? can anybody help?
damn, its a bitch to do. you can barely get a screw driver in the cracks, but its do-able. you can only get at the screws at an angle, just try not to strip the screws. i think theres 4 screws, get a flash light to find them.
btw my guess is if you did have a short right there, your horn would honk, does it honk before it blows a fuse.
also the seatbelts run through that fuse too. you might try unpluging one or the other so you can narrow down the source. Either take the steering wheel off (to dissable the horn) or take the door panels off and unplug the seatbelt connectors, then test it out to see which is the culprit.

i have no horn at all and have disconnect the seatbelts under the seats but not in the doors. the lights that i have on my instrument cluster are "door open " light and "fasten seatbelt" amd of course no brake lights. this all occured when i shut the door.
