Default Certifit Parts - quality or cheapo?

I'm planning on a 99 front end conversion for my 97 civic coupe. I've been noticing lots of people selling theirs for over 500 bucks. On Certifit.com, you can piece out the body parts, fenders, bumper, hood... for right under 200 bucks. I was just wondering if anyone has gone this route and did the parts fit right?

Of course, the paint is an extra... but is the fitment good or bad compared to getting one original?

http://certifit.com/
click on ONLINE CATALOG, then select your state, it will open a PDF. Its on page 112.

Thanks much!

That's good to know. 1 down, 3 more parts to go, & all together assembled.

That does cross my mind, but i'd like to see someone here who actually had the parts to do it and what the end results are.

I know maybe one part mixed with oem parts may stick out, but what if its all Sorta-fit parts are together, who knows.. it just might look original? Only the person who's done it will know.

Keep your old frt end and go SIR bumper headlights and fogs. It might be alot cheaper then buying a whole new frt end. It might not get stolen either. Alot of ******* always steal the 99-00 Frt ends. What ever you do take your time and post some pics when your done. Good luck!

Good idea, i'll look into that. My area also has lots of pathetic thieves. Maybe that might be just what i'll have to do. Our laws are becoming weaker by the day. A thief steals your car, cuts their hand, and they can sue you for money!! Or, they trip on your property and sue you, then you lose as well.... i've read it in my cousins law books. Pathetic isn't it?

I'll post pics up when i decide on the front end. thanks for all your inputs.

the red car is an 92-95/96-00 hybrid wich is why it doesnt fit at all

i've had very good experience with cheap jobber bumpers when it's on the right car.

ive had sortafit hoods and body accesories from accords-civics- crvs- integras. For the money honestly you can not beat it. But if you are going completely flawless oem ;used or new is better, but if you are on a budget like myself it is not to bad. SOme parts i have noticed fits better on some cars then others. eg chassis fenders fit ok, integra bumper fits great. The seems will meet up but they will be off as far as being even.
