Repairing the front end on my 99 EJ8...
Hello all,
I am looking to repair most of the front end on my 99 EX. This involves the front bumper cover, the front fenders, headlights, hood, inner fender plastic, etc. I'm looking at probably close to two grand after I get everything painted.
I'm really looking to get new OEM parts, as the bumpers are usually quite damaged at the junkyards. A few months back, hondaautomotiveparts.com sort of stopped taking my orders, so I am trying to figure out where to get these parts. I would really like to get the front end parts of a 99/00 Si.
These are big parts, and I have had problems ordering such large parts from companies before. They either don't want to ship them or charge twice or thrice what it would actually cost to ship it...like $150 for a bumper.
Anyway, would someone give me some suggestions on how and where to buy such parts? I've been trying to figure this out for many months, and it's really time that I fix the front end. By the way, I am in the Atlanta area.
Thanks!

yep true...when i got rear ended i replaced my bumper, not even with a oem bumper just a aftermarket one, with it painted FBP (which the paint is starting to fad a little after a year now) i payed $400... i'd say try the junkyards and classifieds, look for any color you can...then get it painted in the color you want. As for the Si parts you'll just need a oem lip which you can order from honda for around $240 painted the color of your choice...you can also choose to go with a ctr style upper grille or a real si/ctr one...
