got cracked oil pump gear.why?
i just have cracked my oil pump.
please lmk if you have any idea.
b18c sleeved 84mm
oem itr oil pump assy new
eagle rods
stock gsr crank
oem bearings
1000miles brake in procedure
than
fully tuned on t3/t04e 27psi
then went to gt35r
tuned on 14psi.
everything was great
first 24psi and get oil pump grear cracked.
no oil pressure at all
please lmk if you have any idea.

Lightweight flywheel and a grabby clutch. Sends lots of vibrations through the motor driving normally. The lighter flywheel has less momentum which is why you have to rev the car higher to take off. Then when the clutch engages and grabs it causes a greater torsional twist on your crank. There is a thread that can explain everything better than i can around here i'll see if i can find it.
