Default s2k clearance question

Im looking into buying a s2k(ap2) and i was wondering how low the stock suspension rides... im a current college student and there are a couple bumps and inclines that make me worry sometimes

for all of you riding on a stock suspension, do you ever have any clearance issues with speed bumps or anything else?

thanks

You will scrape on stock height on some things, and most you have to take at an angle at <1mph

i havnt had any scraping issues. I dont know if its because of the short wheelbase or what.

The wheelbase isn't that short. what helps on entry is that the front bumper length before the wheels is very small.

What hurts on exit is that the wheels are spread apart as related to the body. The middle of the car is vulnerable.

It's got like 5'' of ground clearance stock, IIRC. You'll have some trouble on big bumps, but nothing major. Watch for parking blocks carefully. This isn't a car that you can pull up to a parking block till the tires touch. If you have the OEM lip, DEFINATELY watch for parking blocks.

You'll hit parking blocks anyway lol. The front is so decievingly HUGE. You think that the front ends at a certain point...but you'll be wrong. It keeps going for a few more feet. You'll see what I mean when you drive it. You'll have to learn the dimensions of the front end after driving it for a bit.

Find ways around the speed bump. And learn to go over bumps sideways. That'll usually do the trick.

it's way easier to get in/out of driveways and over speedbumps than my old integra.

I don't know about having to "learn" how to park near blocks. If anything, it's easier than a dropped integra or civic since the hood doesn't slant as much.
