intake manifold makes loud buzzing noise

hey i was wondering why my intake manifold on my B16A makes a loud buzzing noise...has anyonw had a problem like this???

Explain, manifolds themselves only buzz if they are vibrating - example -- heat shield loose on the exhaust manifold, and I don't see the intake buzzing at all.

i dont know how to describe it and i know its not the heat shield on the exhaust manifold...you can hear it from the intake

no, no ticking at all sounds like a loud leaf blower!!!

I have a high pitched noise coming from somewhere in my throttle body. I'm pretty sure that it's just air moving past some crud caught in a small pathway, and so it's resonating. You probably have something similar.

like no as loud but u can say like you saying BUZZZZZ to your self in a soft tone

my friends eg made a buzzing sound from the intake and his car wouldnt start. charged battery and problem gone

Did anyone figure out anything about this problem. I have a b16 swap and have the same noise coming from my intake. I Have cleaned IACV and checked to see if valve is working but still have not found the problem.

Had it happen to me after a manifold switcheroo, turned out that the throttle body wasn't secure. I tightened it up, sound went away.

sometimes a cold air intake will do that.
my CRX made the same noise.
It was really hard to describe the sound...
