Well when I bought my EG it had a jdm b16 and a fart pipe. This really began to bother me so I picked up a stock exhaust and cat. I went to bolt it up and it seems the cat inlet is too small for the headers outlet. Does anyone know if I bought a test pipe would it fit correctly? Also what testpipe would do the trick?

kind of header is it? most all aftermarket headers fit stock evhaust systems. you would have to measure the test pipe and header outlet in order to get the correct answer yes or no if it will fit.

 

that's funny, the test pipe itself wouldn't make it fit, you would have to get some custom flanges made no?

 

The inlet on the cat goes around the VERY end of the donut gasket on the header. It's almost like i may be able to tighten it enough so it wouldn't leak but I would like to see if anyone has any other input. And i'm pretty sure it's the stock jdm b16 header.

 

You would need custom flanges. a muffler shop would make you one.
i had a JG Edlebrok header and the header was like 2 inch and he custom made a flange and adapt it to my 2.25 piping.

 

sounds about right to me. If its a stock header it should fit.
