Default b16 header on gsr

i gotta 96 civic coupe with 99 gsr swap with a b16 dc sports header, header is about 1 1/2" to short to the test pipe, is there a bolt on cat or test pipe i could buy that would fit or should i just get this test pipe custom welded?

Take it to an exhaust shop, have them add some piping to your testpipe or exhaust.

I thought that a b16 header was too short to clear the 1.8 block cause of the extra length?????????

OEM B16 exhaust manifold will not clear b18. but the DC 99-00 SI 4-1 will clear the b18, my friend is using that on his LS swap right now.

ok so i put the type r dc header on my car and a stock 99 ex cat, and vtec isnt the same, is this bc of the cat or might the o2 sensor be loose?

My 4-1 dc header does not completly clear the block, it hits the oil pan. I test fitted it and it was off so i pounded in the oil pan just a bit to make it fit on. I have a gsr block with a b16 head

i think i lost some hp even tho i removed stock headers for dc's, i have a cat instead of a test pipe.. this make sense or should it not make a big difference?
