Default Fitting of an ITR header on Apexi WS2

Hello,
I have a question that I tried to perform a search but couldn't really find the exact answer. I have a 95 eg hatch that I recently had a shop install an Apexi Ws2. While the shop was doing the exhaust they noticed that my stock cat was damaged and highly recommended that I have them make a custom pipe that would replace the stock cat. They only charged me an extra $50.00 to do this so I said what the heck.

My question is that I am putting a 98+ ITR motor as well as the stock 4-1 ITR header. Will the header fit directly to the stock cat or that test pipe that I had put in? Any help would be great.

Just take it back to that shop and they should be able to make it fit fairly easily.

the collector on the r header is 2.5 , so they will need to enlarge that side of the test pipe so it will bolt up to the header

The WS2 should be like 2.5 inches already. You may have to have the test pipe shortened or lengthened or have it cut and rotated at the header side if it's a JDM header, but it's nothing major.

Exactly. They may need to trim or change piping size, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for an exhaust shop.
