Default airbag installation

I don't know if it's legal to do this at home but fak it. I wanna know if there's any extra precautions during the installation of the passenger airbag on a 92 prelude si 4ws? What are the steps to follow?

take off the battery terminals and leave them off when you do it... pretty sure its just plug and play. oh and u might wanna crawl under the glovebox so if the airbag DOES deploy, it won't hurt you, easier for the driverside since u can work in from the side. good luck, have fun.

i install bags all the time, no worries, just make sure battery is disconnected, it is not going to deploy, there has to be an impact, its pretty easy, like 2 10mm bolts where the glove box is, if your bags blew, then you need a new module as well, if you want the light to go out, which is under the center of the dash.. or you can pull the cluster out and pull the bulb out.. if this is soo let me know, caus i have a new one, that is wrong for my car... might work for you

u dont have to buy a new one, u can reset it.. although a new one would probably be more bulletproof.. there's the reset procedure on here if you search for it

dagle you install airbags? or you talking out your ***?? you cannot reset control modules that have had bags deployed. the control module has to be replaced, not with a brand new module, but with one that the bags have not been deployed. i replace bags on new cars all the time and have never been able to "reset" a module, yes if you disconnect a bag, that is good, and the light comes on, you can turn it off, but if the bags have blown, the module is junk. check ebay..
