integra LS turbo question-s
I have a 2000 integra with a turbo running only 8lbs of boost. I wanted to know how much boost on a stock motor I can run before I start blowing sh-t up and stuff like that. I have heard 12lbs if the vehicle is tuned correctly and 7-8lbs if its just a bolt on turbo. ALso that if I plan to run more boost, that a thicker head gasket will need to be used, which I fully understand. So any comments would be appreciated. I'd love to have the option to get a-movin if I so feel the need to during the warmer months of the year!

By saying this, he meant that engines blow up because of horsepower not pounds of boost. Do you know how much power you have now? also, what are you aiming for?

I have no idea what I have actually. I wish I did, I might have to take it in to get tested, otherwise, I'm not sure what to look for but something VERY comfortable
well as far as i was told... i could push a bar, which is 15psi.. stock internals with a t3/t04.. of course thats with a stand alone.. bigger injectors.. i was told that the biggest weakness in b18's are the rods.. i plan on doing wiseco pistons, eagle rods, head studs, 750cc injectors, hondata s300, fuel pump, with a t3/t04.. my goal is around 300whp which i was told i would be able to run safely... i would do a compression test on ur car, and if the numbers a decent, im sure u can push 8lbs safely with stock internals.. highly recommend hondata, for that could be the main difference between blowing ur motor or running safely..

Again, boost doesn't mean anything...either does telling us you have a "T3/T4" because there are about 10,000 turbos in the category
