Default Oppnions, More boost or bigger turbo?

I would like the oppnion of some knowledgable people on here, I have a stock 2000 LS running 10lbs on a T3 .63/.60

I would like more power but am not sure if I should re-tune for more boost on the .63/.60 or shell out some cash for a bigger turbo.

Please let me know what your oppnion is and recomendations on a different turbo if you think I should go that way. I am wondering if much more boost will be out of the efficency range of this turbo......I would like atleast 250 whp......more would be fun but I dont know what an LS can take

not to sound dumb, but its cheap and to see if you like it. Try a SSAC T70 out.

im guessing he wants more power but wants to keep it on the stock mapsensor. Switching to a larger turbo will help you out. The reason i said try a T70 is because it's flanged w/ a T3 but has a twinscroll .84AR turbin housing. And later if you wanna crank up the boost it'll be ready to support future goals. Do keep in mind this isnt a "T3" fast spooling @ 2k rpm turbo. But its a NICE kick in the pants at 5k

Depending upon his powerband. T70 may be powerful, but could easily be mismatched. Peaky, and no band. Just topend only.

Assuming your fuel system is up to par, why wouldn't you just max the turbo out and see if it meets your goals?...getting it tuned of course.
This might be all you need, and is a lot cheaper than upgrading the turbo right away.

If it doesn't meet your goals...upgrade.

I guess my goals for this car would be to get into the 12's but still have a nice daily driver. right now the car will manage a mid 13 with full exhaust.

I just didnt know if it was bad to push lets say 15lbs through that turbo. Would it be out of its efficency range? and could my motor handle that? I just dont know much about running high boost......but I want more power

And improve driving skill and supplemental equipment. More power does not always yield low E.Ts. without skill and the right suspension
