heey whats up guys...so basically i was leaving my work and my car start stuttering and finally just floored it to give it more gas...after about a couple seconds of that the car just shut off...i pulled over and tried cranking it...i have to check it out tomorrow...but recently i changed the cap and rotor and the ignition coil...

earlier that day i wasn't able to start it...i checked the ignition coil and checked the cap and rotor...changed the battery and after turning it over for a good minute or two it started up...but was stuttering...it shut off a couple times on its own, and as i tried starting it up again i gave it more gas and i felt the car shaking as i was giving gas...i finally got it idling fine after just laying on the gas for a little while...i let it warm up before i drove...test drove it and noticed that as i was driving the tach kinda went crazy for a couple seconds...after a little while it started working fine and had no problems.

what do you guys think?? could it be TPS? IAC?...i changed fuel pressure aroudn to see if that made a differnce and nothing...im going to check ignition to see if im getting spark on all 4 cylinders...if you have any ideas of what i should be checking out please give me suggestions...that would be awsome...my car is not near my house, so its hard getting back and forth...thanks guy in advanced...i need the help!!!!!

 

I had the same problem when i got my car to start the engine was shaking like crazy

I changed the whole dizzy and still nothing
sometimes it doesnt even turn on
When i drove it it shut off
Sometimes it kind of starts and i press the gas to keep the engine idling and it seems like no gas is getting in

 

i think that it is my spark plugs that are ruined most likely in my first and second cylinder thats spark plugs not the wires

 

yeah its a pain in the *** cause this is my DD

this just happened to me all today...it has been stuttering randomly a long time ago...but all this happened today

 

what if the engine is too old oO and ***** just bad?

What year is the car? Is the ECU stock? Do you have any CELs?

 

the car is a 1995 integra ls...just built last year and has been running fine until now...the ECU is hondata s100...set up for a vtec....as for CELs...im not too sure what that means...maybe you can help me out on that one..haha
