Default LOWER TIE BAR USERS. PLZ HELP MEH.

ok well i recently got a benen lower tie bar and i cant find bolts long enough any where to save my life. just wondering where everyone got their bolts for theirs since benen dosent supply them.

aint they direct bolt on and utilize the existing bolts? cause thats what i did when i installed the lower tie bar , front and rear.

did you get it used ? should've come with bolts.

you could call benen, i'm sure they'd sell you the bolts if your local hardware store doesn't have em.

i got it new from password. i have looked every where for the bolts. 2 hardware stores , 3 auto parts stores and my friend tried to order them from 4 different places at work with no luck.

i'll agree, on a stock honda you will see a difference.

the second you upgrade your shocks/springs a lower tie bar does nothing.

sway bars do make a difference, rear lower tie..not so much.

I beg to differ -- those ebay tie bars are worthless -- but products like the A-Spec ASR subframe bar are far from worthless..

Im assuming he's referring to the benen bar and those that are similar. There are functional bars like mine that have built in brackets for the swaybar, and those that help with subframe reinforcement like the ASR..


..but regardless, I still think the Beaks bar is sexy

well not to thead jack but could anyone post up pics of the bolts cause my megan tie bar didnt have bolts either.
