My heat shield is all ugly and dirty, what would look better?

Painted black or polished shiny?

BTW how hard is it to take off the heat shield, any suggestions?

I think glossy black engine enamel would be nice. The rusty bolts are hard to break loose and in a tight space, especially if you have AC.

 

u mean exhaust manifold heat shield or intermeidate pipe heat sheild.
i remember there are only 3 tiny bolts to loose the exhaust manifold heat shield and u can use engine enamel spray can to repaint the heat shield.

Go ahead and polish it, but it's steel, and it'll rust
