Default Brake Swap

Does anybody know where I can get a brake swap kit or the service done so I can convert form drum brakes to disc brakes in the rear of my car?

The easiest way to do it is to find an EX in a salvage yard, and take the entire trailing arms off.

snag an ex complete setup. gives you a rear anti sway bar to boot. don't forget to get the e brake cable as well. I changed my proportion valve from an early integra with rear disc brakes. I wasn't sure if I needed to, but I did it anyway just to be safe.

for the proportional vavle you don't have to change the valve, but if you don't you'll only get the presure that the drums need which is lower than discs. so if you want the full effect you should change it. you can also change the master cylinder to get the 1 inch too.

I have my doubts about a lude, but I can't say for certain. The easiest way is to yank the whole crossmember from a 4th gen, including the e brake cable as they are different. It is only 4 bolts on the crossmember, the trailing arms, and 3 on each side of the struts. It can have abs on the setup, and if your car doesn't have abs, just take the sensors off. I did my whole swap in about 3 hours.

I should add that I have a 4th gen, but it will work for whatever year accord you have.

looks like he has a 6th gen. as for the others...

4th gen needs all 4th gen parts from EX

5th gen needs all 5th gen parts from EX (DO NOT get the LX w/ abs rear knuckles, those along w/ the subframe on that car is an odd ball)

proper swap on a 5th gen lx would be EX rear knuckles, e brake cables, brake booster, MC, and teg 4 wheel discs non-abs prop valve. that along with lude front brakes = stops fast.

the EX prop valve is part of the ABS assembly. is it a part you can just rip out of there?

another option is TAS auto, on their site they have the complete swap over, all new parts, all you need once you purchase that is the person to do the labor if you choose not to do it yourself.
